Providing the best in dental care for children is what we all should strive for, and that requires not only the desire to provide the best treatment, but also using the finest in diagnostic technology. Pediatric dentistry is goal based, unlike all other specialties that are treatment determined. For example, an Oral Surgeon provides Oral surgery procedures for all ages, whereas a Pediatric Dentist provides ALL treatment for an age based group, along with care for all those with Special Needs. The best diagnostic equipment should not only provide the clinician with abundant information, but do so in a manner that is also kind and comfortable for the patient, creating the ideal dental experience.

Upon completion of this CE webinar, the student will be able to implement a successful Preventive Dentistry program that utilizes the diagnostic capabilities of these devices, thereby providing early and conservative therapies with confidence. In addition, the many special circumstances that occur frequently in Pediatric Dentistry requiring the acquisition of radiographic images wherein CCD sensors are deemed impractical will be understood.   ( disclaimer , AGD PACE Statement )
