Digital oral imaging in its many forms is often misunderstood in dentistry. Clarification of the use of the various modalities of digital imaging can not only streamline the workflow in our profession but it can also create better understanding between health professionals, better rapport with our patients, and easier communication with third party payers. Proper imaging can also shield us from potential litigation when properly implemented.
Upon completion of this CE webinar, attendees will learn: • Which digital imaging systems are suitable to provide information necessary to demonstrate anatomy and pathology; • How digital imaging systems provide diagnostics which properly determine treatment; and • How to comply with current standards in the dental profession.
