Consideration is also taken on the safety of continual chemical exposure to our instruments and surfaces and how product selection will either shorten the life and integrity of dental instruments and devices or enhance the longevity.
Upon completion of this CE webinar, the student will have covered: • Identify Real World Challenges in keeping thing clean in the dental office with focus on the miscommunication of the dental staff especially the hygienist and dental assistant • Recognize the mass of misinformation in the market for sterilization & disinfection protocols and what is defined as standard precautions vs. universal precautions • To educate & promote strategies on implementing safe, effective sterilization and infection control interventions to ensure the health & safety of our patients and ourselves
